Message from West London Family Health Clinic
We are facing an important worldwide health issue related to COVID-19. It is extremely important that we take steps to ensure the ongoing health of our patients, our health team and our community.
We consider ourselves an essential service, and we are trying to provide you with the best care possible. We are doing everything we can to keep patients and team members from being exposed, and ensuring everyone receives the highest level of care. We follow guidelines and recommendations from the Ministry of Health, Public Health and our Colleges and Associations.
If you require service, please call us, and we will arrange a phone call, virtual visit, or an in- person visit as required. We are re-booking appointments that are not essential. We are not able to see any drop-in patients and our Urgent Care (After Hours) evening clinic is CLOSED.
If you have respiratory symptoms (such as a cough, fever, runny nose, sore throat, or difficulty breathing), travelled outside of the country, or have had contact with someone with respiratory symptoms:
You may use the Ontario Ministry of Health’s online self-assessment tool at https://www.ontario.ca/page/2019-novel-coronavirus-covid-19-self-assessment, call Telehealth (1-866-797-0000) or call our office (519-641-6712 and press 1).
If you are not able to assess your symptoms consider visiting the COVID-19 Assessment Centre for further information (Oakridge Arena, 825 Valetta St. 11 am – 7 pm)
DO NOT VISIT THE EMERGENCY ROOM unless it is a clear EMERGENCY.
Wash your hands with soap and water. Cover your nose and mouth when you cough or sneeze (with a tissue or into your upper sleeve or elbow – NOT INTO YOUR HAND).
PRACTICE SELF-ISOLATION: Stay home. Do not attend public events (over 50 people). Practice social distancing (keep a distance of at least 2 meters). Limit number of unnecessary visitors in your home.
