The Thames Valley Family Health Team Board of Directors includes 11 members—physicians, nurse practitioners, and community representatives—who are elected for their valuable skills and experience. Together, they provide oversight and strategic guidance to support the organization’s mission and ensure high-quality care for the communities we serve.

The Thames Valley Family Health Team (TVFHT) is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, team-based primary health care to over 162,000 patients. Our interdisciplinary team includes nurse practitioners, nurses, mental health counsellors, pharmacists, dietitians, occupational and respiratory therapists, working collaboratively to provide patient-centered care.

The TVFHT Board of Directors is a skills-based, policy governance board comprised of eleven (11) directors, including:

  • A minimum of five (5) Directors who are primary care providers (Physicians and/or Nurse Practitioners).
  • Six (6) Directors elected by the Board, committed to advancing primary health care leadership and enhancing the well-being of the Thames Valley community.

The Board is dedicated to fostering a culture of employee wellness, integration and collaboration, health equity, and leadership in primary care. Collectively, members bring expertise in governance, strategic planning, quality, healthcare, business management, finance, law, collaboration, risk management, patient advocacy, and public service.

We encourage applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and skills who are passionate about making a difference in the health and well-being of our communities. Directors are appointed for a three-year term, with the option to reapply for one additional term.
